Come discuss the future of virtual reality (VR) and the Oculus Rift with members of the Oculus team including Palmer Luckey, founder, and Nate Mitchell, co-founder, and Ryan Brown, hardware architect. We’ll give a short talk on what we're building, what you can expect in the next year, and why we're so excited about the future of VR. Then we’ll open it up to questions from the audience and Twitter.

Aaron Davies

Aaron’s first foray into virtual reality was his first job out of college, developing flight simulators for NASA and the US Navy at Evans & Sutherland. He moved into the entertainment industry at Tsunami, creating motion-based arcade and film platforms. At THQ Aaron produced the Disney-Pixar game franchises and various console titles. Concurrent to his tenure at THQ Aaron served as an Adjunct Professor, teaching Game Development courses at the Art Institute and ASU, where he completed his MBA. Aaron later joined Intel, taking on responsibility for developer software supporting the Larrabee many-core GPU product targeting the entertainment industry. He later led a research group focused on emerging technologies, including human-computer interaction design, sensor development, haptics, big data, virtual reality, and augmented reality. At Oculus, Aaron is focused on developer engagement across multiple demographics, to deliver a completely new experiences in the medium of consumer-ready virtual reality.
