Glenn Max was born and raised in NYC.
In 1997, after years of performing in venues and organising art exhibitions, he was asked to serve as creative director of the multi-tiered performing arts venue, The Knitting Factory where he produced work by avant-garde artists such as John Zorn, Phillip Glass and Diamanda Galas. He expanded the programme to include cutting-edge rock and pop artists such as David Byrne, Sonic Youth, Suicide, The Roots and Stereolab producing festival dates in Central Park and Battery Park. He also established the organisations concert programme with Ali Farka Toure farewelll concert appearance at New York's Town Hall.
In 2000, he was asked to take over at the South Bank Centre in London as Producer of the Contemporary Culture program where he oversaw 9 Meltdown Festivals and conceived and organised new festivals such as Ether , and Mind Your Head, doubling the size of the contemporary culture programme. Achievements include Brain Wilson’s comeback concerts and his follow-up ‘Smile’ concerts, The New York Dolls reunion, David Gilmour and Morrissey and lesser-known artists like Iva Bitova, Robyn Hitchcock, Plaid and David Axelrod.
Ether was started in 2001 to address the vast gap in electronic culture and concert hall culture and the expectations of artists and audiences who typically engage in contemporary electronic culture and seldom go to concert halls for events. The festival had huge impact across art centres in the UK and aborad by presenting electronic music alongside contemporary classical and presented collaborations between the London Sinfonietta and Radiohead.
In addition, he developed the programme for African music and music from the Balkans through concert series and educational programmes.
In 2010, Glenn Max left the Southbank to work on the Wilderness Festival which was voted best New Festival at the UK Festival awards. He also took over as Creative Director of the Village Underground re-positioning that venue as an essential performing arts centre in East London establishing it as one of London's leading venues for presenting new music, art and ideas.
Glenn Max is a curator of the Wilderness Festival which won 'Best New Festival' at the UK Festival Awards.
In 2012 he took over management of the progressive chamber rock art ensemble, known as the Irrespressibles.

Michael Starr is the Senior Director of National Promotion for GLASSNOTE RECORDS, and is lucky enough to be based here in Austin.
GLASSNOTE RECORDS is the home of MUMFORD & SONS, PHOENIX, TWO DOOR CINEMA CLUB, CHVRCHES, CHILDISH GAMBINO, LITTLE GREEN CARS, ROBERT DELONG, OBERHOFER, HALF MOON RUN, FLIGHT FACILITIES and more. The label is based in NY, and is led by Daniel Glass.
Michael has over 20 years of music experience. In the 90s, he ran a record store, and came up through the distribution ranks at WEA, EMD, and BMG. In the 2000's, he did promotion for Wind-up Records where he played an integral part in the success of bands like Seether, Evanescence, Drowning Pool, Finger Eleven and others.
Now in his 3rd year at Glassnote, he focuses on developing all their artists' airplay across the country.

A career that has seen Paul move from Manchester to London to New York and work with artists as diverse as Tool to Justin Timberlake and Radiohead to Jay-Z with the songwriters and producers that he represents at the company he founded Bang The Drum, Paul helps navigate the careers of creative individuals through an ever-changing business landscape. Manager to Grammy winners Jimmy Douglass and Ben Allen amongst others, Paul has also managed several artists including Duran Duran and Daniel Bedingfield. He is also proud co-chair of the Education Committee for the NY Chapter of the Recording Academy.

Robin Danar is a music producer, engineer, artist and mixer. He started his career engineering records in New York City with artists like Paul Simon, Billy Joel, Steely Dan, Bruce Springsteen, James Taylor, Carly Simon and Chaka Khan for producers including Phil Ramone, Steve Lillywhite, Gary Katz and Russ Titelman. At the same time, he was doing live sound and recording at CBGB's with bands ranging from Blondie, the Ramones, Patti Smith and Television through the Dead Boys and The New York Dolls. He spent over 2 decades mixing front of house sound internationally for acts including Laurie Anderson, Suzanne Vega, Shawn Colvin, The B-52's, The Church, The Blue Nile, Ian Hunter, Michelle Branch, Shelby Lynn, Glenn Hansard and Cyndi Lauper while finding new artists, developing their careers and producing their albums. Recent productions include live recordings with Macy Gray as well as Bonnie Raitt and Los Lobos for the Wim Wenders film "A Soul of a Man", part of the PBS series "Martin Scorcese Presents The Blues."
As a Technical Producer, Robin is very involved with Santa Monica's KCRW and their "A Sounds Eclectic Evening" project, which includes performances by artists such as Coldplay, Beck, Norah Jones, Franz Ferdinand, Death Cab for Cutie and many special guests. More recently, he’s also produced the web broadcasts for their “Sessions” project with Sia, Moby and KD Lang. His role as a producer of the Shortlistofmusic Award has included similar broadcasts and recordings of the show for MTV and XM Radio with a variety of artists including Damien Rice, Interpol, N.E.R.D., Bright Eyes, Iggy Pop, Sigur Rós, TV on the Radio and Cat Power.
