Explore new ways to generate revenue through creative deal making while exploring non-traditional lanes of opportunity.

John Manganilla

John started his career in the music business, working his way up from intern at Nasty Little Man PR to A&R at Cordless Recordings (Warner Music Group). Created by Jac Holzman (Elektra Records, The Doors), Cordless was the first major label to abandon the CD and exclusively release digital music. While at Cordless, John signed a number of bands to distribution deals and 3 artists to label deals: Kennedy, The Ropes, and The Notorious MSG.

From Cordless, John focused his attention on artist management and development. Honing his marketing chops with low to no budgets, he learned how to efficiently invest in opportunities for greater artist growth. Developing one artist from a complete re-brand to generating over $200k within his first 2 years.

In parallel, John ventured into the advertising technology space conceiving, pitching and executing multi-phase marketing campaigns for brands such as Verizon, Kodak and Elizabeth Arden. In 2012, John generated $4 Million in new business through ideation and strategic services for an agency based in silicon valley.

Currently, John is consulting in product and marketing capacities with a major cable provider on their mobile experience for linear television and out of home viewing.
