Elie is the co-founder of Anghami – the leading music streaming service in the Middle East.
In late 2012, seizing the opportunity of a lack of proper digital music service, Elie and his partner Eddy Maroun launched Anghami (My Tunes in Arabic).
Since then, and in less than 1 year, Anghami has reached over 3.7 million users, streams close to 5 million licensed Arabic & English tracks and is integrated with 7 mobile operators.

At Anghami, Elie runs the operations and product development, spending most of his time working between clouds, streams and pixels.
Before Anghami, Elie co-founded PowerMeMobile – a mobile messaging gateway provider. Prior to that, he was the CTO of one of the first portals in the Middle East Naharnet.com.
