Joshua Baer helps people quit their jobs and become entrepreneurs. In 2008 he founded Capital Factory, the largest startup incubator and co-working space in Austin, Texas. Joshua founded his first startup in 1996 in his dorm room at Carnegie Mellon University and now teaches a class at the University of Texas for student entrepreneurs. He is the a Return Path Fellow and is the most active email investor in the world. Mellie Price has 20 years experience as a successful entrepreneur and executive. She is the Managing Partner at Source Spring - which has invested in over 20 early-stage companies and is actively involved in the Austin business and non-profit community.
Prior to Source Spring, Mellie founded Front Gate Tickets in 2003. She bootstrapped the company from her living room and in 2011 the system powered over $70M in ticket sales in 800+ cities across North America. Front Gate Tickets was acquired in September 2012.
Mellie is also a founding investor, lead mentor, and Managing Director for Capital Factory — a seed stage mentoring program and co-working facility in Austin, TX. She holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas at Austin and serves on the Board of Directors for Animal Trustees of Austin and the Sustainable Food Center.
