Stop Pricing Tickets Like It's 1999

#sxsw #tixpricing SXsports

After television contracts, ticket sales represent the largest portion of a team’s revenue. However, most ticketing decisions, and pricing approaches in particular, are made using outdated practices. While data collection is all the buzz, few teams are actually making use of the info they have to increase returns. Join this session to learn how better ticket pricing incorporating data from both the primary and secondary market can be used to drive attendance and increase revenue, and even change fan purchasing behavior. Stop simply collecting data and start using it as the blueprint for better pricing. This session is part of the brand new SXsports programming at SXSW 2014.
