Idea Vomiting: A Creative Brainstorming Session

#sxsw #IdeaVomit

ATTENTION: THIS WORKSHOP IS NOW FULL. Please choose another session to attend. Thank you.

Whether it’s scribbled on a cocktail napkin, strikes like lightning, or wakes you up in the middle of the night, inspiration can hit at unexpected times. Through our jobs as designers at Frog and IBM, we’ve discovered some methods for prompting that inspiration. We'll go through tools and methods for rapid ideation, re-framing problems, and understanding true needs, all while beefing up your creative muscles. Following these simple exercises, you'll be able to truly harness the creativity of your team, spur brilliant ideas from unlikely sources, use absurdity to ignite your creative genius, and discover your best solutions yet. If you've ever wanted to start your own company, invent something new, or just refresh your creative process, you'll want to check this out. This workshop will be two and a half hours long.

Prerequisites:
- Nothing, just be prepared to get creative!

What to Bring:
- Sharpies, sticky notes, and a sketchpad if possible (but we'll have extras).
