The Wrong Side of History - The Worst Technological Innovations of the Past, Present, and Future will explore the top 10 worst technologies through unfiltered debate between Heather Hinton, PhD (CTO, IBM) and Josh Alexander (CEO, Toopher). The debate will be moderated by Bob Blakley, PhD (Global Head of InfoSec, Citigroup). As the debaters are incredibly direct in nature, expect a very lively exchange, going way deeper than simply successes and/or effects on society, but diving into precedents and ethics associated with technologies ranging from mustard gas to Apple Newton.

TWSoH engages the technologies at a root level, but even more importantly, it strives to debate a philosophical framework to help define the lenses by which we examine technological innovation going forward.

This debate will bring old and new "things we tried to fix with technology" into the spot light an help inspire the creativity to build a more connected tomorrow, while reducing the probability of SkyNet.
