Six hundred of years worth of books tell you how to set type for great documents. Recent work has translated this to web pages. Typography for Developers will teach you to set type for great apps, both web and native.

Typography is not a mystical system. Much of its creation could be considered art, but laying it out follows many useful rules. Typography for Developers focuses on these to give you just what you need to know to improve the visual design of your app through type.

Typography cannot be ignored. Words used to make up 95 percent of an app’s interface. Now it’s more like 99 percent.

Prerequisites:
- Attendees should have a basic knowledge of both HTML and CSS. Basic javascript is recommended.

What to Bring:
- They should bring laptops equipped with a text editor.
