7 Ways to Engage with the US State Department
A description of an entrepreneur's two years serving as a senior advisor on innovation and entrepreneurship. Based on her view that all citizens should serve meaningfully in their government, Rebecca Taylor took a "time out" from 25 years as a serial entrepreneur to serve for two years as Senior Advisor, Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the U.S. Department of State. She has since moved back into the private sector. Her talk will focus on the initiatives she created to help the State Department identify and work with US startups more effectively.
