The best web apps handle dynamic data with grace and ease. But in order to get the job done, front-end developers often end up with a clunky DOM and spaghetti JavaScript. In this two and a half hour long workshop, we'll show you how to solve these problems using Angular.js. We'll show you the ropes of Angular.js and you'll leave our session with a working app that leverages real-time data updates and advanced JavaScript techniques for both desktop and mobile.

During this session you'll learn the basics of Angular.js through concepts like "bidirectional data binding" and "declarative programming", see demos and look at the code behind them, and receive some starter code to help dig into Angular.js during some hands-on work time to get your own app up and running. Since Angular.js has a bit of a learning curve, our goal is to make sure you leave the workshop with enough background to be able to continue learning and building with it on your own.

Prerequisites:
- This workshop is designed for web developers that have knowledge of HTML, CSS, and most importantly, JavaScript.
- Those with intermediate-level JavaScript skills or higher will get the most out of this workshop and should be comfortable with handling and manipulating JSON data and working with HTML5.

What to Bring:
- Please come to the workshop with a laptop with a plain text editor (or your preferred coding environment of choice) installed.
- The ability to run a local server (such as LAMP/MAMP, Node, or others) on your laptop is also a plus.
