Maybe it's when you're backing up The Smiths' Andy Rourke for a version of "Some Girls Are Bigger Than Others." Maybe it's when you get an email from David Bowie saying "nice album". Maybe it's having songs on the BBC and in The Office or playing shows all over the world. In ten years and three albums, In-Flight Safety has put together a long list of favourite moments.

In the small town of Sackville, NB, Canada, a group of friends devoured records, and feverishly wrote music. They did so 7 days a week for about a year. The result was the Vacation Land EP which canonized their love affair with dreamy, melodic sounds.

Years pass, shows get played, miles are travelled and still In-Flight Safety’s laser focus on melodic, glowing songs remains true. The group's latest song, "Destroy," is their most direct-to-the heart offering to date. A teaser from their new album, it highlights floating vocals over a pounding rhythm section complimented by smashed out guitars. It's warm. It’s exciting. It has that spark of endless possibility. It will surely mark the start of many more favourite moments.
