Real rock is hard and loud. Real Rock has substance. Real Rock cannot be meaningless. Real Rock is not harmless. The drummer has to hit the drums hard. Guitars and bass must be aggressive, distorted and loud. That’s the idea behind Motor. That’s what Motor sounds like.
Motor debut album “Motor I” (Intolerancia, 2012), is probably best described as a stoner-rock album with lots of 70’s sounds, some southern rock elements and a 1940’s blues feeling. Lyrics are angry and irreverent, and reflect what living in a country like Mexico means these days. The first single is called “Solo importo yo”.
Motor is currently touring Mexico’s rock club circuit.
