Many venues have exclusives with ticketing giants, so acts like Louis CK opting to do their own ticketing face major challenges. LCD Soundsystem expressed similar anger toward Ticketmaster after tickets to their final MSG concert sold out and were scalped instantly. Did they have another viable ticketing option? Sharilyn Mayhugh joined Austin City Limits Live in September 2010 where she leads marketing strategy for the award winning 2700 capacity venue and new home of Austin City Limits, along with Stageside Productions, ACL Lives’ sister company. Prior to landing at ACL Live, Mayhugh spent 10 years at Live Nation where she most recently held the role as VP of Marketing and was responsible for a team of 12 that promoted stadium, arena, amphitheater and theater shows in the Southern region. With close to 15 years in the music industry, she has gained extensive experience in strategic partnerships, branding, media buying/planning, public relations and event management. Mayhugh is an active member in the local music and advertising community, she was recently nominated to be a part of the inaugural Leaders In Austin Music Program and is a member of the Austin Advertising Federation.

In 1996, he created one of the web’s first licensed streaming music sites. Prior to Topspin, Bob worked at Yahoo! Music, founded the media agency Closed System, and worked closely with the Sundance Institute and the NEA to help musicians, filmmakers and educators connect with fans online.
