Pedro Torres Picón is an entrepreneur and investor from Latin America, based in New York City. He has been actively investing in early stage technology companies since 2004 and has made over 40 investments in various areas such as: real estate, construction management, digital and out of home advertising, home maintenance, mobile commerce and several others. In 2010 he created Quotidian Ventures to invest in passionate entrepreneurs and help them realize their potential to turn great ideas into amazing companies.

Structural Civil Engineer. After graduating college in 2008, Sebastian decided he wanted to become an entrepreneur. He didn´t have a clear idea ahead, but in little time, he found an opportunity after realizing how hard it was to compare and purchase car insurance in Chile. That was how the startup, ComparaOnline.com, was born. ComparaOnline.com is a website used to compare insurance and financial products online, allowing users to buy wisely, under the concept: "Before choosing, Compare". Today, it is one of the most important ventures in Latin American, and in 2012 it has established itself as a leader of its category in the region.
