Patrick Chung Partner New Enterprise Associates Inc

Patrick is co-head of NEA’s Seed-stage investing practice and founding partner of NEA and Harvard’s Experiment Fund (www.xfund.com). He is a director of 23andMe, Curalate, Euclid, Lytro, Pulse, and Recce, and is actively involved with Carezone, Fantasy Shopper, IFTTT, Rock Health, Tivli, and Zumper. Prior to joining NEA, Patrick helped to grow ZEFER, an Internet services firm (acquired by NEC) to more than $100 million in annual revenues and more than 700 people across six global offices. Prior to ZEFER, Patrick was with McKinsey & Company, where he specialized in hardware, software, and services companies. Patrick received a joint JD-MBA degree from Harvard Business School and Harvard Law School, where he served as an Editor of the Harvard Law Review. Patrick was a Commonwealth Scholar at Oxford University, where he earned a Master of Science degree. Patrick earned his A.B. degree at Harvard University in Environmental Science. He is a member of the New York and Massachusetts bars, and a member of the Committee to Visit Harvard College.

Matt Mazzeo, a partner at Lowercase Capital, advises and invests into early stage companies at the junction of media and technology.

Prior to Lowercase Capital, Matt spearheaded many of the digital and venture efforts at Creative Artists Agency (CAA), the world’s leading entertainment and sports agency. Matt shaped the agency's seed stage investment strategy and also fostered the founding of CAA’s own start-up companies, including Funny or Die, WhoSay, and Moonshark. Along the way, Matt recruited top talent, built out operating models, and helped raise over $90M from top institutional partners including Greylock Partners, Sequoia Capital, Amazon, Qualcomm, Comcast Ventures, and Tencent.

Thomas McInerney NALA Investments

Thomas McInerney advises and invests in early stage Internet companies. Tom has a computer science background and began his career as an Engineer/Scientist at Apple’s World Wide Research and Development Group in Cupertino, California. Tom later worked for Sony Information Technologies of America, helping to build and design the VAIO line of computers when that group was created. Tom left Sony to become an entrepreneur, starting a search engine for Usenet, and later one of the first user generated video sharing sites, ShareYourWorld. Tom is an investor in Klout, and also spent time as the COO helping the company raise money and scale up. He is currently an advisor to Klout, is a mentor at i/o Ventures, is an advisor to BeachMint and was an EIR at Trinity Ventures. He is the president of NALA Investments and splits his time between Santa Monica and San Francisco.

Dana Settle Partner Greycroft Partners

Dana Settle is a Founding Partner with Greycroft LLC, and she heads the firm’s west coast office out of Los Angeles.

Prior to Greycroft, Dana spent several years as a venture capitalist and advisor to startup companies in the Bay Area, including six years at Mayfield, where she focused on early stage companies in the mobile communications and consumer Internet markets.

Dana currently serves or observes on the boards of Greycroft’s investments in Clique Media, Fanhattan, Gamersfirst, GameSalad, Joyent, Maker Studios, Precision Demand, Pulse, The RealReal, TrunkClub, uSamp and WideOrbit. She also managed the firm’s investments in Digisynd (sold to Disney), ContentNext (sold to Guardian Media), MoVoxx (sold to Motricity), Sometrics (sold to American Express), and Sportgenic (sold to Glam).
