Mentor session signup is open to all Film, Gold and Platinum badge holders at a first-come, first-served basis. Registrants who signed up online must check-in 30 minutes before your mentor time slot to guarantee your spot. Limited on-site signup is also available for a small number of mentor sessions spots and will begin 30 minutes before the first time slot of each session.

Anne Moebes is a sole practitioner who provides legal advice in connection with traditional and digital promotions and advertising, including drafting website Terms of Use and Privacy Policies, FTC and state law compliance for sweepstakes and contests (including rules and other documentation), collection of personal information (including drafting of privacy policies) email marketing, green and cause marketing, buzz, stealth and viral marketing, truth-in-advertising, and intellectual property and right of publicity clearance as well as drafting and negotiating complex new media, online and traditional marketing, advertising and consulting agreements. Formerly, Ms. Moebes served as Vice President, Business and Legal Affairs for Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, where she managed the film marketing division, advising high-level executives on all of the foregoing types of matters and in addition, closed numerous content deals with high-profile companies, e.g., Yahoo, Facebook, Apple, Amazon and Major League Baseball.
Annie Lin is a San Francisco-based attorney who works at the intersection of entertainment, media and technology. Since 2010, Annie has been practicing with Brave Noise Legal, providing legal and entertainment counsel to enterprises and creators in music, film, advertising and mobile/interactive media.
As production counsel and music supervisor for film and television, Annie’s credits range from narrative features to documentary films, including recent titles "Rising From Ashes", "Marwencol", "Copyright Criminals", "Jack and Diane" and "Cartoon College." Prior to moving to Bay Area, Annie helped launch the licensing division of The Orchard, a digital distributor of music and film. As director of creative licensing, she was instrumental in building the company’s creative licensing ventures and establishing the business as a major player in the synchronization licensing space. Her music placements can be seen in numerous films, television shows, advertisements and interactive media projects, for brand properties such as Target, British Airways, Lexus and Crayola, and programs including “The Wire”, “Dexter” and “CSI:Miami”.
Annie collects 78's and is a co-founder of the San Francisco Mixtape Society.
Deena Kalai is an entertainment lawyer with offices in both Austin and Manhattan.
Deena represents artists and businesses engaged in entertainment, intellectual property and technology, including film, music, television, fashion, literary publishing, and mobile/interactive media. Deena has a particular interest in fair use and assists many documentary filmmakers each year in assessing the applicability of this important copyright doctrine to their projects.
