Bay Area funk sorcerer B. Bravo has assembled a crew of intergalactic badmen to form The Starship Connection - a synthesizer funk / future bass quartet co-piloted by producer and synth wizard Teeko (synths &talkbox), featuring two of the West Coast's finest instrumentalists Daren Grant (keyboards) and Bob Menacho (live & synth bass).

Seducing dancefloors with alluring melodies, exceptional musicianship and booty dropping beats, the crew takes flight on a dazzling array of analog gear, sending out love-guided funk beams to all on board for the ride. From sensual slow grinders to
floor shaking bass anthems, its all a party. Since taking flight in 2011, The Starship Connection has delighted audiences at shows alongside artists like Ana Sia, Eprom, Chrissy Murderbot, NastyNasty. In addition to playing classic B. Bravo joints like 'Midnite' and 'Computa Love', which gained him International acclaim and release on Gilles Peterson's Brownswood Recordings, The Starship Connection performs brand new originals from their debut EP (written and produced by Bravo & Teeko), featuring the massive bounce cut 'The Roll Out' and mid tempo funk-bomb 'More than Just a Dream' set for release in early 2012 on Frite Nite Records. Their dancefloor shaking crowd favorite 'Drop It!', featured on Ana Sia's superb compilation Surreal Estate, was released in Oct. 2011 on Frite Nite getting plays from Benji B on BBC Radio 1. Bravo's highly acclaimed third solo EP Kiss 'n' Tell also saw release in 2011 on the London based Earnest Endeavours imprint receiving spins on BBC Radio 1, KCRW LA, East Village Radio NY and support from DJs like Starkey, Gilles Peterson, DJ Lefto, JBoogie.
