Farming as Advocacy: How Black Ranchers are Making History

Date TBA

2023 was the first year that Americans imported more food than they exported, and the agricultural deficit is only slated to worsen. In the face of system oppression and giant farming conglomerates, Black Americans are carving out a piece of history. In Georgia, 19 families co-own a 500 acre farm to build a safe haven for food and freedom. And in Oklahoma, some ranchers have spent their lives working other jobs just to sustain their farms. Hear from experts and those on the ground about the way these farmers are shaping agriculture and culture, and building their own generational wealth.
