How do we leverage the power of design as a positive force to restore and regenerate the natural world? In response to the ever-changing impacts of climate change, the global epidemic, and extreme urbanization, we are looking to go beyond sustainability efforts and carbon neutrality to design infrastructure with a nature- and community-positive impact. This session will demonstrate how nature’s wisdom combined with building science can create positive design strategies and transform the way development of the built environment addresses its relationship with the natural world.
