When is art “art” and not “content”, and does it matter? Viral typographic artist and content creator Michael James Schneider, along with writer, director, activist and popular online personality Sarah Jones, will discuss what’s at stake (and what’s at risk) in defining art, and the clunky and often problematic origins of defining what art is (and who does the defining). They will examine their own journey to find their artistic voices in the age of social media, and in the face of a wave of people defining their art for them.
