Defending Originality in Era of Sequels, Reboots & Remakes

Date TBA

No matter where you look, intellectual property (IP), or content based on pre-existing stories or franchises, seems to reign supreme on the big screen. This can make the process of creating and selling original projects a challenge for up-and-coming creators. With the rise of diverse and inclusive onscreen representation, there’s a greater call for original content now more than ever before. This panel will provide guidance and strategies for developing new, compelling stories that can compete with established franchises and touch on the production and sales side of crafting original content.
