Renzo Rodriguez

Renzo Rodriguez, with over two decades of experience, is a visionary in bridging technology with public sector transformation. As the Managing Director of AWS's Worldwide Public Sector Federal Technology & Innovation organization, he champions the adoption of cloud technology by U.S. Federal Government agencies and partners, propelling them towards greater efficiency and mission success.

Starting his career in Sprint's Government Systems Division, Renzo rapidly advanced from Associate Engineer to Senior Solutions Engineer, showcasing his technical acumen and leadership capabilities. His career trajectory is distinguished by influential roles, including serving as Team Lead – Chief Technologist at AT&T, where he was pivotal in designing integrated mission solutions. His expertise expanded at Terremark and Verizon, where he directed Public Sector Solutions Engineering teams, focusing on cloud computing, managed hosting, IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity solutions.

At VMware, Renzo strategically led Public Sector Alliances, Channel Partners, and National Security Systems Engineering teams, further establishing his leadership in public sector technology. Prior to AWS, as NetApp's Senior Executive Director, he spearheaded the U.S. Public Sector Solutions Engineering organization, demonstrating his unmatched skill in driving public sector technological advancements.

Renzo's academic foundation includes a BS in Engineering Science, with minors in Business Administration and Biomechanics, from the University of Florida, an MS in Telecommunications from George Mason University, and an MBA from Virginia Tech. This educational blend fuels his innovative leadership and strategic vision in technology and solution development.

A Miami, FL native, Renzo now enjoys life in Northern Virginia with his family. Outside of his professional realm, he is passionate about spending time with his family, outdoor adventures, reading, and sports.
