Erika Allen is the head of audience strategy and growth at The Washington Post, overseeing several teams including social media, optimization, special initiatives & partnerships, planning and project development, talent strategy and community development, newsletter strategy and news analytics & insights. She’s a close partner to the Post’s technology, subscriptions and advertising teams and her cross-functional work is focused on attracting and engaging new and diverse audiences.Before joining The Post, she worked as senior director of global news operations for Vice World News, New York Magazine’s The Cut as culture editor, an executive editor of The Outline, and was an editor at The New York Times.
