Steven Zeitchik

A longtime staff writer at The Washington Post and LA Times, Steven Zeitchik has covered culture and technology at some of North America's most influential outlets for more than two decades. His latest venture is Mind and Iron, a new platform examining the consequences of technological change from a human perspective -- at how AI and all that follows will influence our lives in profound but tangible ways. Mind and Iron publishes a popular weekly newsletter, with a podcast and other media on the way.

A graduate of the Columbia University School of Journalism, Steven has also served on a film awards jury at SXSW; won the Arthur Burns Prize for International Reporting in Berlin; published the sports memoir My Green Obsession; and speaks often about technology and culture at conferences around the world and in venues such as NPR, NBC and CNN.
