Elizabeth Monteleone

Elizabeth Monteleone is the Interim General Counsel for Bumble Inc., the parent company of Bumble, Bumble for Friends, Badoo, Fruitz and Official. Ms. Monteleone joined Bumble as its first US-based legal counsel in 2018 and has played an instrumental role in shaping the company’s legal and compliance functions. She has been a key leader throughout many of the company’s pivotal moments, including its 2021 IPO, and continues to manage and oversee aspects of the legal department across corporate, commercial, product, safety, and litigation. In addition, Ms. Monteleone has helped spearhead the company’s public policy initiatives, working to pass laws throughout the US focused on reducing digital harassment, as well as supporting the company in its reproductive rights initiatives.

Prior to joining Bumble, Ms. Monteleone worked as a corporate associate at Winstead PC in Austin, Texas, and at Proskauer Rose LLP in New York and London.
