Katie Morrice

Katie Morrice is an earth scientist within the Coastal Sciences Division at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. In this role, Katie is focused on offshore renewable energy, coastal resilience, the blue economy, and ocean climate action. Previously, Katie worked as the environmental lead for the U.S. for Simply Blue Group, a blue economy developer that was exploring the potential for floating offshore wind in Oregon and in the Gulf of Maine. Prior to working at Simply Blue Group, Katie worked with the U.S. Department of Energy in the Water Power Technologies Office supporting R&D activities for the Blue Economy, interagency ocean policy activities, and environmental and energy justice initiatives.
