Dr. Patrice Le Goy, PhD, MBA, LMFT holds a doctorate from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology (TCSPP), in International Psychology with a focus on Trauma. She received her Masters in Business Administration (International Business) from California State University, Los Angeles (CSULA) and her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Southern California (USC).

Patrice is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California and a Board Member of a community mental health clinic that primarily serves the low-income, BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities. In addition to serving on this board, she has presented her research on colorism and skin-lightening at a conference in the Middle East, and contributed to publications in the United States and in the Middle East as an expert source on mental health issues. She has also presented as part of an interprofessional team on topics including Service Learning during the COVID-19 pandemic and received a grant to develop a program on Spiritual Wellness through Indigenous Healing Practices, which was provided to students, faculty, and staff at TCSPP.

Prior to her psychology career, Patrice worked for several years in the entertainment industry, in International Marketing for film and television studios.
