Golden Hornet, a 501c3 nonprofit organization, is REIMAGINING CLASSICAL MUSIC through collaborative creations and adventurous programming with commitments to justice and innovation. Every year, Golden Hornet presents four core programs, including the SXSW Official ATX Composers Showcase sponsored by KMFA. This supports and celebrates new music ensembles focused on contemporary works by local composers - connecting them with a national and international network of music industry professionals.
