Island Wave is a platform that provides funding & resources to Caribbean Creatives to be able to showcase internationally while creating spaces on stages that would not usually cater to such a line-up or genre. Returning for a 4th year as the Official Caribbean Stage at SXSW, Island Wave continues to create opportunities for Caribbean Creatives to belong at established international events while helping to increase the ratio of Caribbean faces & cultural representation in the commercial marketplace today. Fusing their Caribbean Heritage with modern on-trend genres the Island Waves line-up is a diverse blend of culture blending sounds unique like the Islands that they represent.
