U.S. Leadership in a Multipolar World

Mar 10, 2024

4:00pm – 5:00pm CT

Today, the US faces increased friction with competitors and must account for the rising prominence of middle powers such as India and Brazil. By 2050, the US is likely to maintain its unique role, but geopolitical shifts are sure to alter the extent to which it can lead on challenges–including conflicts which impact global communities and businesses via sanctions, inflation and insecurity. Panelists will scene-set current dynamics, discuss the state of US leadership and illustrate the global south’s views. They will offer ideas for how the US can engage today to ensure a more stable future.
