Surviving 9/11 - 27 hours under the rubble

“Surviving 9/11” is a 20-minute VR cinematic documentary commemorating the 20th anniversary of the attacks in New York. Featuring exclusive and never-seen-before archives of the World Trade Center remastered for virtual reality, this documentary offers a unique connection with the testimony of a survivor — in the time and place of her story.

By exploring Genelle’s souvenirs, this documentary offers an emotional dive into the defining moments of her life: her first days in New York, her memories of 9/11, and her life today, 20 years later as she returns to Ground Zero for the first time since 9/11.
