Nadine Robertson

Nadine “DJ NOLA” Robertson is an entrepreneur, philanthropist, radio and television personality from New Orleans, LA.

She began her career in 2008, becoming the Station Manager of the University of North Florida’s student run radio station, WOSP-Osprey Radio. During this time she was first exposed to the logistics of the music industry. She began interviewing local and major artists on her “In the Mix” radio show.

Eventually she developed a keen interest in artist development, management, and marketing. In 2008 she founded Visionary Entertainment Records later expanding into Visionary Entertainment Media Group (VEMG) which serves as a multi-faceted independent record label and full service entertainment organization specializing in marketing, artist management, music publishing, recording production, artist development and event coordination.

After graduating from college she continued to pursue a career within the entertainment industry; attending various music festivals and conferences, in addition to hosting In the Mix with DJ NOLA at Loyola University’s Crescent City Radio and Delgado Community College’s WXDR 98.9 FM. Today she is heavily involved in the New Orleans community DJing various community, school, and private events. She has played an influential role in developing and marketing various independent artists from Louisiana to Florida.

Over a three year span she expanded her brand to include Visionary Philanthropic Media Arts Foundation, sparking a community grassroots initiative entitled Step It Up. As the Founder of VPMA Foundation, she advocates to educate, empower, and employ under-served youth, utilizing media arts, to engage them to positively transform themselves, their communities, and the world.

In January 2016, Visionary Entertainment Media Group will launch an online television show which bills itself as "In the Mix with DJ NOLA” via a platform website developed and designed by herself at www.visionary-entertainment.net.
