Ashley Brightwell

Ashley Brightwell is an architect, music blogger, talent buyer, artist, DJ/musician and life-long philanthropist. His love for sharing and promoting local, national and international musicians has been the driving force behind the inception of the hybrid music blog/nonprofit, Music Is Our Weapon. Ashley believes that access to one's favorite music in healthcare settings should be as readily available as water in the technological age we live in. He founded Music Is Our Weapon in 2013, a community and organization whose mission to provide a sustainable source of music in all health care environments improving quality of life. They equip caregivers with the technology and support necessary to serve those in need with access to the music they love, while simultaneously collecting data to further understand the power of music as medicine.
