Adrian Canoso

Adrian has a foundation in Industrial design with over 5 years of experience in the design of complex robotic solutions. His passion lies in designing robots with empathy and that provide a meaningful contribution to people’s everyday lives. He is currently Co-founder and Head of Product and Design at Savioke where he is responsible for Savioke’s product strategy and design for Relay, a fully autonomous robot capable of delivering items between people in everyday human spaces. Designing a robot that was a first of its kind was a challenge, there was no real precedent for robots of this nature and Adrian felt that Savioke would have to set the bar high for the fledgling industry. He strived to design Relay to carefully set expectations of its users, balancing sentiments of cuteness vs. professionalism, and cues of intelligence without over promising the robot’s capabilities. Throughout his design research and implementation, he worked with the Savioke team on making sure Relay is intuitive to use and well received by both professionals and first time users.
