Eliza Strickland

Eliza Strickland is a senior editor for IEEE Spectrum, the magazine and website for technology insiders. She manages Spectrum's coverage of AI, and takes particular interest in AI ethics, AI alignment, and the societal impacts of AI. She also covers biomedical engineering, with a special focus on neurotechnology. Strickland has reported on science and technology for more than 20 years, writing for publications including Wired, Discover, Nautilus, Sierra, and Foreign Policy. She holds a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University.
