Diane Mueller is Director, Community Development at Red Hat. She is the open source lead for Red Hat's OpenShift Container application platform and manages cross-community collaboration efforts with Kubernetes, OpenStack, Cloud Native Computing Foundation, Open Container Initiative and a multitude of other upstream open source projects that are the underpinning of modern cloud infrastructures.

She has been designing and implementing products and applications embedded into mission critical financial and accounting systems at F500 corporations for over 30 years.

In addition, Diane was deeply involved in development of XBRL financial standard and served on both the XBRL International Steering Committee and the Best Practices Board, chairing the software interoperability working group and the XBRL Rendering Technical Working Group.
She is also the founder of GetMakered Labs, a mobile maker space initiative focused on bringing STEM programs to underserved communities across British Columbia where she currently resides.
