Director of Special Projects
Entrepreneurship Funders Network

Sarah is CEO of Sarah Koch Consulting, LLC, a social sector strategic consulting firm supporting the advancement of inclusive entrepreneurship and philanthropy. Through this role, Sarah is Director of Special Projects with the Entrepreneurship Funders Network, a new collaborative of foundations working together to advance entrepreneurship as a force for social change.

Previously, Sarah was Vice President, Social Innovation at the Case Foundation, where she led the Social Innovation team, including its portfolio of grants and programs across inclusive entrepreneurship, impact investing and civic engagement. The Case Foundation’s mission was to invest in people and ideas that can change the world, and Sarah was proud to bring a gender and racial equity lens to that work. Sarah also helped to launch and ran the programming behind the foundation’s Be Fearless campaign to encourage more innovation and risk taking in the nonprofit sector, now a best-selling book by CEO Jean Case.

Prior to her work in philanthropy, Sarah worked in nonprofit services at the startup Causes.com and in health education at La Clinica del Pueblo in Washington DC. Originally from Wisconsin, Sarah earned a bachelor of arts in sociology and Spanish from Luther College. She is passionate about culturally competent education and healthcare, racial and gender equity and spends her free time either singing or outdoors.
