It’s great to meet you! I’m John, and I’m the Social Media Director at Sinclair Broadcast Group. Before that I worked at Engadget/Aol as Engagement Editor, where I grew the audience of Aol’s top tech news property through a unique, editorial-focused social media engagement strategy. I also interviewed Cookie Monster and filed stories involving the intersection of tech and culture from time to time. At SXSW 2015, I led a panel on brands and social media called "Redefining Realness for Brands on Twitter” (and speak at other events including Social Media Today and Digital Summit). Prior to Sinclair and Engadget, I consulted with innovative startups, leading social media marketing initiatives at Virgin America, project management at Old Navy and so much more.
