Anny Colvin

Born and raised in Washington State (GO SEAHAWKS!) Anny got her start in music in New York City, attending NYU and studying music business. After interning for Universal Music during college, she began her career at Motown/Republic Records in the video production department. Here, she worked on a wide range of music videos from Eminem/Akon’s “Smack That,” to The Rapture’s “Woohoo Alright, Yeah Uh Huh.“ In 2008, Anny moved to Los Angeles where she spent time at both UMe and the Film/TV Department at Capitol Records. She moved into publishing in 2011 as a Film/TV creative at indie publishing company Position Music. Anny joined the Vibe Creative team as the head of music supervision in 2013 and worked on various marketing campaigns including Ant Man, Ted 2, 22 Jump Street, and Jungle Book. Anny is currently the head of music supervision at Rock Paper Scissors/JAX where she handles both trailer and advertising supervision. Her recent work includes trailers for Game of Thrones, Pirates of the Caribbean 5 and Atomic Blonde (premiering at SXSW, go see it!)
