Rose Troche is an award-winning writer, director, and producer of film, television, and new media. Her film career launched with the award-winning film Go Fish and followed with various directing and producing credits including Bedrooms and Hallways, The Safety of Objects, Concussion, May In the Summer, Deb Shoval’s AWOL and Little Boxes, which sold to Netflix in the largest purchase of the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival. Troche has worked on top TV series directing pilots for The L Word. Additional TV work includes, South of Nowhere, Star, Six Feet Under, Ugly Betty, Law & Order and Finding Carter.
Troche got into VR in 2014, writing, directing and producing the acclaimed series Perspective Chapter 1: The Party, and Chapter 2: The Misdemeanor, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2015 and 2016. In 2016, Rose Troche was awarded the Sundance Institute Time Warner Fellowship Program Grant for her upcoming VR comedy series LGBTQIA.
