Mike Godwin

Mike Godwin is General Counsel, Senior Fellow, and Innovation Policy Director at R Street Institute. Prior to that he worked at the Wikimedia Foundation, the Center for Democracy and Technology, and the Electronic Frontier Foundation, and was a senior fellow at Yale Law School. He created the internet adage "Godwin's Law," which states that "as an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1."
