Daniel Rabinovich started his career in MercadoLibre in March 2000 as an application developer. He was one of the creators of the first in-house version of MercadoLibre in Java technology. In 2006, he was distinguished with the "Award of Excellence" to be promoted in 2007 to Director of Product Development. Rabinovich led a large number of projects until the beginning of 2008, the challenge of forming the Product Development team. In 2009 he was promoted to Vice President and since 2011 he has been the CTO for the 4 business units in 13 countries where MercadoLibre operates. In 2014, Information Technology distinguished him as CIO of the year, based on the vote of his peers.
Prior to joining mercadolibre.com, he performed various software development tasks at PeopleSoft.
Daniel was a speaker at various events related to Technology and Electronic Commerce, such as Web 2.0 Expo San Francisco, Red Innova Madrid, Etsy Code as Craft New York, E-Commerce Forum San Pablo and Velocity Santa Clara (presentations).
Rabinovich graduated with honors of Degree in Information Systems of University of Buenos Aires and ex-teacher in the same institution. He also completed a Master's Degree in Technology and Telecommunications Services Management at the University of San Andrés. In 2012 he majored in General Management at Stanford University.
