This session dives deep into the search and social marketing ecosystem and supporting technology, considers Austin’s current presence in that stream, and predicts based on a candid assessment of strengths, weaknesses, and needs what it will take for Austin denizens to be leaders and shapers, rather than simply participants in the brave new world to come. This rollicking ride will encompass the history of where we’ve been in search + social marketing and tech, where we stand today (including a jazzy infographic to be distributed digitally to all attendees) in terms of players, and what ingredients might need to be added for us to play a global leadership role in the journey ahead.
