Cooking is Dead, Long Live Cooking

Date TBA

The news about home cooking constantly contradicts itself: one minute it's reported that home cooking is dying, the next minute we read that restaurants are suffering because more people are eating at home. What's really going on? Technology has changed the very concepts of going out and eating in. Now, you can "go out" in your dining room, and you can "cook" a meal that's been ordered in. This panel will explore how start-ups, apps, delivery services, and grocery store technologies are not just changing how we eat, but changing the concepts of cooking and dining out.

Programming descriptions are generated by participants and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of SXSW.
