America's Mayors: Holding the Line
Mayors may be the last line to defend progress in the face of a regressive agenda that challenges cities on immigration, health care, criminal justice reforms, civil rights, LGBT rights, funding for social programs, and more. Their cities are finding themselves increasingly in the crosshairs of federal, and in some cases also state, leadership looking to strip away the policies and initiatives of their locally elected leaders. What constitutes “liberty” may depend on the eye of the officeholder. Hear from mayors who are on the frontlines fighting to ensure their cities continue to be the engines of economic growth, innovation, livability, and progress for the country.
