Unlocking the Brain’s Full Potential in Athletics
Dedicated athletes constantly seek out new options to amplify their training routines. From sports nutrition to activity trackers and cryotherapy, technology has enabled athletes to steadily improve their physical performance. The next frontier of sports tech is stimulating the neuronal pathways between the brain and the body. By stimulating the control center of the body, the motor cortex, practice becomes more meaningful. "Muscle" memory is built faster because the motor cortex is put in a state of hyperlearning. A panel will talk about how priming the brain for training and motor learning can bring athletes closer to their genetic potential.
