Photography: Still An Agent for Change

Mar 14, 2017

2:00pm – 3:00pm CT

In an age of unprecendented volumes of imagery, photographers focused on social issues are still essential in impacting cultural awareness. Exemplary conceptual, technical, and diverse approaches stand out from the photostream and continue to inspire new audiences to stay emotionally and financially connected to the ideas of social good. These three panelists span race, gender, geographical location, and represent divergent topics and approaches. Michelle Dunn Marsh, moderator, complements the photographers with information on the importance of visibility for cause-related projects, and the significance of support given through the for- and non-profit environments.
