Child's Play: Making Money Writing Songs for Kid's TV & Film

From “The Bare Necessities” to “Let it Go” songs in children’s films have always held a unique place in popular culture. It is a specific, challenging and distinct style of songwriting where a sticky top line melody and simple emotive lyrics have to catch an audience’s imagination in the moment and keep it.

With more children’s media content being produced than ever, writing for kids film & television represents one of the most exciting (and lucrative) facets of songwriting in the modern age.

Potential new customers are born every second, so our expert panel will explore the skills of writing music for children, the financial model of fees & royalties and the size of the opportunity.
