Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives can span the globe and cover an array of issues. At Zendesk, our CSR programming focuses on issues that are right in our backyards around the world. Through our neighborhood focused approach we have been able to better engage our employees and take part in local community action. Yet, using this framework around the world can have it's challenges. As we think locally and act globally, our issues and concerns change. From areas with strong welfare nets to those with increasing poverty, developing community programming with a localized focus has had it's bumps.
